Di de la Rue has been working in the Interiors industry since 2007, gaining her early experience with renowned firms Colefax & Fowler, Vivien Greenock Ltd, and Tatum Kendrick Design in New York. She established her own studio in 2011 in Africa, before returning to the UK in 2016 and re-launching in Hampshire.
The studio’s portfolio spans an impressive range of projects including London pied-à-terres and townhouses, country houses, luxury showrooms, villas and chalets abroad.
Di draws on an eclectic range of global influences, having grown up between Africa and the UK, and with formative time spent in America. Travelling extensively, she developed an early appreciation of diverse styles; these cultural references informing and inspiring her distinctive interiors.
As a studio we strive to create timeless, inviting and uplifting interiors where design decisions, both aesthetic and practical, reflect our clients' lifestyles, priorities and budgets. By listening to our clients and working collaboratively, we hope to create interiors that reflect our clients at every turn. We aim to bring fresh, creative ideas to each project, encouraging clients to explore new possibilities and giving them the confidence to do so.
Through layered schemes, we weave together colour, pattern, and texture. We achieve dynamic yet balanced interiors by knowing where to create impact and where to exercise restraint.
Passionate about bringing a sense of individuality to each client’s house, we draw on a curated network of trusted suppliers, specialists and exceptional craftspeople, designing bespoke pieces, commissioning talented artisans and sourcing antiques and original artwork.
Our team approaches each project with meticulous attention to detail and efficiency. We offer a comprehensive range of services, from liaising with architects through to final installation. During what can be a daunting or demanding process we want our clients to feel reassured and informed, whilst excited and inspired by our shared vision — whether it’s a house move, a refresh, or a full renovation.
